ABOUT THE DIVA DEN

Hi, my name is Stephanie and I have 2 passions. Football and photography. My wife's 2 passions are Hockey and photography. And it was from there in 2014 the Diva Den was born. A place to showcase everything football and hockey. As well as the perfect location to host watch parties. The den has memorabilia from many NFL hall of fame greats, like Roger Staubach, Tony Dorset, Joe Montana, Marcus Allen, Gail Sayers, Tony Gonzalez, Payton & Eli Manning, and the “Gronk”… Gronkowski from the Patriots. and many others. We also have a hall of fame chiefs helmet signed by all the Chiefs greats. We also cherish an original artist sketch autographed by Hank Stram holding the Vince Lombardy trophy, Ed Podolak, and Len Dawson. This piece was acquired from our very own Patty DiPardo.
We also love our hometown hockey team, the Kansas City Mavericks. The den has memorabilia from the very first inaugural season on up. Even a signed jersey from Hockey player Obi Aduba, brother of the famed Uzo Aduba who played “Crazy Eyes” on the series “The Orange is the New Black”. We have the original floor plan from the independence event center signed by the first year Mavericks team. Many player autographs along with game used sticks.
My love for football came at an early age. With all boys in my neighborhood I found myself as a tomboy playing football at an early age. Then as a single adult I joined the Kansas City sports and social club to meet new people and begin to play flag football. After hearing about tryouts for a tackle NFL rules national football team coming to KC Well, I had to try out. I made the team as a 39-year-old rookie and started my first season as a tight end. I finished my football career at age 49 as a quarter back. I played for 8 seasons and made the pro bowl all-star team 5 of the 8 years. After I retired I got an all-pro ring highlighting my football career.
At age 50 Robyn got me a spot in the first ever Chiefs Fantasy camp that allowed me to be a Chiefs player for a day. I got my own locker at Arrowhead where the team suites up. I received my own Jersey and a one-day contract with the team. I’m still waiting on the paycheck. There were 95 participants and 7 women. When the dust settled that day I had beaten out all 95 participants for the “Best Hands” awarded and my team quarterbacked by Hall of famer Trent Green took second place in the flag football tournament.
Now I am in my 6th year covering the Kansas City Chiefs from the sidelines as a published photographer. That has truly been a dream come true. I have met so many wonderful people and was privileged enough to capture history when Kansas city girl, Katie Sowers, a former women’s football team mate, was name as only the 2nd full time coach in the NFL when she signed with the San Francisco 4ers.
Now that I have hung up my cleats, I have moved on to personal training. I am currently training a young boy for freshman football. It’s a joy to help young talent reach their full potential on the gridiron.
Robyn had been collecting hockey memorabilia for quite some time now. And we are season ticket holders on the glass with the Kansas City Mavericks ECHL hockey team from the very first puck drop at their inaugural season.
The Diva Den has hosted numerous watch parties and of course the big dance... The Super Bowl each year. If you would like to attend a watch party just go to www.Divaden88.com and sign up. We would love to have our Lake Winnebago neighbors join us to cheer on our hometown team.
We do hope you enjoy you tour of the virtual "Diva Den".
